"There, There" Bookclub (virtual)

The "Future Global Stewards" book club is back for Fall 2020! This semester we explore "urban indigeneity" with the book "There, There" by Tommy Orange.

"There, There" by Tommy Orange is a relentlessly paced multigenerational story about violence and recovery, memory and identity, and the beauty and despair woven into the history of a nation and its people. It tells the story of twelve characters, each of whom have private reasons for traveling to the Big Oakland Powwow.

The book club is a collaboration between the RIT Native American Future Stewards Program and RIT Global Education. This semester, we will meet VIRTUALLY (3x). There is a limited number of free books for students and the RIT community. However, we encourage non-students to purchase the book and support an Indigenous author!
