Through the Lens of Quajay Donnell: Why Rochester’s Public Art is So Important

Hosted by Rochester Advertising Federation.

People love art in public spaces. We love to look at it, learn about it, interact with it, take pride in it, and post it on our Instagram accounts. And Rochester has some amazing works on display.

Quajay Donnell is a photographer with a passion for documenting our city’s public art. He’s captured powerful images of the walls and murals from local, national, and international artists all over the city, and in this talk, he’ll share some of his favorite images, tell some incredible stories, and explain exactly why public art matters — and why our community needs it now, more than ever.

Part of a Speaker Series hosted by Rochester Advertising Federation open to RIT students.
