Tiger Nutrition: Food for Thought Wellness Workshop

Do you really know your food? Join an open discussion on a nutrition topic of your choice on Tuesdays from 3-3:50 p.m. and 4-4:50 p.m. in the IM Conference Room (SLC A100)! The group in attendance will choose a topic and Maddy Degenfelder, our Student Life Center Nutrition Educator, will guide the conversation.

Topics can include, but are not limited to:

Supplements
Vitamins, Minerals
Campus Dining Options
Forming Healthy Habits
Energy Drinks & Caffeine
Macronutrients (Carbs, Fat, Protein)
What Should my Plate Look Like?
Reading Nutrition Labels

Artificial Sweeteners
Deciphering Ingredient Lists

Directions to Intramurals Conference Room (SLC A100): Student Life Center lower level, near the dance studios. Room number A100. Go past the cage and dart boards, down the hallway, and it is on the left. Look for signs that say, “TIGER NUTRITION.”
