Vigil of Remembrance
Event Image
We will band together as students, staff, and faculty (the entire RIT community) to remember, process, and lament—doing so with grace, fond memories, and love. We will focus our collective energy on the equinoctial theme of rebirth, renewal, and resurrection that often follows our suffering. You are encouraged to bring stories, photos, and items that signify or illustrate loss or grief, which will be offered in memory during the vigil ceremony.
Presented by Spirituality and Religious Life, the Interfaith Council, the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Resource Center, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Health Promotion.
This event may be photographed/videoed by RIT. By attending,
you grant Rochester Institute of Technology (“RIT”) permission to use photographs and/or
