Theresa Fitzgerald '84 (graphic design), known for leading creative teams with the spirit of joy and collaboration for brand brilliance, is presenting on campus as part of the Vignelli Center for Design Studies' Design Conversations lecture series at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in MAGIC Spell Studios' Wegmans Theater.

Fitzgerald is a mission-driven design leader, speaker, and educator with extensive experience leading some of the world’s most loved and trusted media and entertainment brands, including Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, Peanuts, and Scholastic. She develops creative strategy for design vision and executes brand systems across consumer touchpoint including marketing campaigns, social channels, retail packaging, consumer products, themed entertainment, digital products, publishing, and motion. Collaborating at the intersection of business, marketing, and creative, Fitzgerald brings a strategic, flexible, and practical approach to breathe new life into iconic brands and craft new innovative ones. Building high-performing teams, she is committed to nurturing an inclusive environment where talent can thrive while achieving creative excellence. Believing in the power of design to help humans reach their highest potential, Fitzgerald is dedicated to cultivating the designers of the future by sharing her wealth of experience through teaching, speaking engagements, and advisory board participation.
