Water Drum Making Workshop

On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, Tuscarora Nation elder, James Bissell, is coming to educate the RIT community on how to make traditional water drums and their purpose in the Haudenosaunee community.

Attendees will learn how to make a water drum through step-by-step instructions in addition to learning about the proper use in the Haudenosaunee community. All attendees will leave with a small keepsake drum (keychain size) that they will learn to put together themselves towards the end of the event!

This event will also be streamed via Zoom here.
