WGSS Movie Screening + Discussion of "Another Body"

Event Image
Film poster featuring a fragmented close-up of a young woman’s face, shown through overlapping computer-style windows focused on her eyes, nose, and mouth. The windows suggest digital surveillance or online imagery. At the bottom, the title “Another Body” appears in bold red text, with film festival award laurels and critical quotes beneath it on a light background.

Another Body is a 2023 documentary film, directed, written, and produced by Sophie Compton and Reuben
Hamlyn. It follows a college student who seeks justice after finding deepfake pornography of herself online.
It had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 11, 2023, where it won the Special Jury Award for
Innovation in Storytelling.
