Women’s History Month Luncheon: Leading with Lolita

Join Career Services, WE@RIT, ECCO, WiC, and COMS in learning from the life of Lolita Jackson, MBE. Lolita was one of the very few women of color in her undergraduate engineering program and has an inspiring story to share, wishing to give back to help women and women of color stay in engineering. She is now the Executive Director of Sustainable Cities at Sustainable Development Capital LLP. She is the link to governments around the world, also working on COP (Conference of the Parties climate summit), UN and climate and business network engagement. She is an alumna of the Penn School of Engineering where she majored in applied science with a concentration in chemical engineering.

We understand that some students may need to leave early in order to get to class.  Though the intended audience is women students in STEM, we also welcome allies.

Food Provided (Bistro Buffet, featuring bistro chopped salad, rolls, seared chicken breast topped with bacon, goat cheese and balsamic reduction, zucchini cakes with marinara sauce, pea risotto, roasted cauliflower, frosted mini brownies and beverages. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free options available.)

Registration closes on Monday, March 20, at 9 a.m. RSVP in Campus Groups: https://cglink.me/2d1/r2033428
