Youth Mental Health First Aid

RIT's Visual Arts-All Grades MST program presents a conversation about mental health with local school counselor Mark Fish, who works in the Fairport Central School District. 

The talk is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in Booth Hall, room 3010. Interpreting services can be requested through myaccess.rit.edu.

Learn about common mental health challenges for youth and a five-step action plan to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include the prevalence of mental health disorders, recognizing symptoms of mental health and the spectrum of interventions that are available to support our youth.

The event is open to all College of Art and Design students, faculty and staff.
