Access to RIT buildings

Beginning today, all campus buildings will require card swipe or keyed access. If you need access to your work or academic spaces, please coordinate with your assigned facility staff to ensure your RIT card will allow you access.

The following building exteriors will be accessible by RIT students, faculty, and staff when the food service or housing operations contained within are open: Grace Watson Hall, Nathaniel Rochester Hall A-Level East Entrance (access to the Corner Store only), Center for Student Development (access to The Commons located on the second floor), and Crossroads. You may view the hours for RIT Dining Services locations at https://www.rit.edu/fa/diningservices/places-to-eat/hours.

Public Safety will be conducting patrols of all RIT buildings and will secure any doors that may be propped open or accessible without a key or RIT ID card.

Please continue to follow the RIT Coronavirus website for the latest news and information.
