Altay publishes in 'The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology'
Bilge Altay, assistant professor in the Department of Packaging and Graphic Media Science, published “Effect of binder–substrate interactions on printable nickel ink performance in high-speed flexographic manufacturing” in The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology. The research explores how different polymeric binders influence the printability and electrical performance of nickel nanoparticle inks printed via scalable flexographic techniques and highlights the critical role of binder–substrate compatibility as well as mechanical densification (calendering) in forming conductive, flexible electronic components.
