Ayers and ultrasound students engage visitors at Deaf Culture Day
Elizabeth Ayers, senior lecturer in NTID’s Department of Science and Mathematics, along with ultrasound students Caty Goodman and Tyler Cardoso, demonstrated ultrasound equipment and anatomical models during Deaf Culture Day on Nov. 2 at the Rochester Museum & Science Center. The demonstration introduced the community to the emerging field of Deaf sonographers.
