Bennett to join Salem State University

Sean Bennett, assistant dean for Academic Operations and Student Success in the College of Engineering Technology, has accepted a new position as vice president for Diversity and Inclusion at Salem State University, in Salem, Mass. He will begin June 1. Bennett has been part of RIT since 2007, serving as one of the earliest directors of RIT’s Multicultural Center for Academic Success. He moved into the role as CET assistant dean in 2010 and was instrumental in leading initiatives promoting student success, increasing first-year retention rates and overseeing advising and outreach programs.
