Brick City Festival Welcomes RIT Students, Families and Alumni, Oct. 12–14
Catch the spirit! That’s the "catchy" theme of this year’s Brick City Festival and 2001 reunion at Rochester Institute of Technology—a campus community celebration for alumni, family and students. The three-day event, set for Oct. 12–14, will feature music and comedy, faculty presentations, networking receptions, reunion activities, campus tours and the Stonehurst Capital Invitational Regatta on the Genesee River.
Highlights of the festival include:
Friday, Oct. 12
Rusted Root: concert, 8 p.m., Clark Gymnasium; tickets—$20 for the general public—are available at the Student Alumni Union candy counter and game room.
Saturday, Oct. 13
A Morning with RIT President Albert Simone, 7:45 a.m., breakfast, SAU cafeteria; 9 a.m., President’s Address, Ingle Auditorium, SAU;
Alumni Network Breakfast, 7:30–8:45 a.m.;
College Open Houses, 10 a.m.–noon;
Faculty Presentations, 10:30 a.m.–12:45 p.m.;
Alumni Celebration Dinner, 6:30–9 p.m.;
Comedian Caroline Rhea, replacing David Chappelle, 8 p.m., RIT’s Clark Gymnasium.
Rhea makes regular appearances on Hollywood Squares and stars in Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. Tickets—$20 for the general public—are available at the SAU candy counter and game room.
