Dean’s Lecture Series Features Cisco Systems Inc. Senior Vice President/RIT Alumna
RIT’s B. Thomas Golisano College hosts Kathy Hill, March 30
Kathy Hill, senior vice president and general manager of Cisco Systems Inc.’s Ethernet and Wireless Technology Group, will be the featured guest in the next installment of the Dean’s Lecture Series, sponsored by Rochester Institute of Technology’s B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences.
Hill will present Leading the Experience as Technology Changes the World at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 30, in the Golisano College auditorium on the RIT campus. The free, public event will be followed by a reception.
Hill will discuss Cisco System’s vision for the technology-enabled future. Cisco’s Internet Protocol-based (IP) solutions are used in business, education, government and home communications.
Hill began her career at Cisco in 1997. She is responsible for Cisco’s Ethernet Switching and Wireless LAN products and solutions across Enterprise, Small Medium Business and Metro Ethernet networks. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from RIT in 1978.
