Kathleen Davis named VP for Enrollment Management; joins RIT Sept. 1

Dear RIT Community,

I am excited to announce that Kathleen Davis has been named vice president for Enrollment Management. She joins RIT on September 1.

Kathleen has served as vice president for enrollment and retention management at Saint Louis University, a private Jesuit research university in Missouri, since 2018.

She brings an impressive track record, having recruited the three largest classes in the history of her current institution while substantially growing international enrollment. I am confident that, under her leadership, our outstanding team in Enrollment Management will continue to recruit ever more talented and diverse classes each year.

Prior to St. Louis, she led the enrollment management division at Canisius College in Buffalo. Kathleen has held several positions relating to admissions at colleges, including St. Joseph’s College, St John’s University, New York University Tandon School of Engineering, and Clarkson University.

A native of New England, she earned her MBA from Clarkson University. She also holds a B.S. degree in business administration from Russell Sage College.

I appreciate the work of our national search committee of RIT faculty, staff, students, and trustees—which was led by Ellen Granberg, former provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs.

I would also like to sincerely thank Colleen Peterson for her admirable work as interim vice president for Enrollment Management. Colleen will continue to lead the organization until Kathleen’s arrival.

Yours in Tiger Pride,
David Munson
