Kausch presents at regional conference
Christopher Kausch II, specialist in Applied Linguistics, English Language Center, presented “The Gamification of Higher Education World Language Classes” at the annual New York State Association for Language Teachers Rochester Regional Conference on March 23 at Nazareth University. The presentation focused on using game-based activities and strategies to instill friendly competitiveness, appropriate rewards, and spontaneous “edu-tainment” in university language courses to build a cross-cultural community.
