Newsmaker: David Edborg

David Edborg, patrol major in the Department of Public Safety, competed in the World Association of Benchers and Deadlifters national competition in Portland, Maine, on May 14. He took first place in two categories, Law Enforcement/Firefighter ages 56-62, and Open Masters, ages 56-60. He broke his previous New York State record with a deadlift of 458 pounds.
