Ph.D. student presents poster at NASA meeting

Manisha Das Chaity, an imaging science Ph.D. student, presented a poster, “Radiative Transfer Simulation and Validation of the Dynamic Structural and Spectral Properties of the Vegetation of the Cape,” at the 2022 NASA Biodiversity and Ecological Forecasting Team Meeting on Sept. 20-22 in College Park, Md. Chaity’s research focuses on measuring one of the biodiversity hotspot zones situated in South Africa using synthetic image generation and machine learning techniques.
