RIT Connects Students and Employers at Spring 2005 Career Fair, April 6
RIT’s Office of Cooperative Education and Career Services sponsors the Spring 2005 RIT Career Fair from 1 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, in the Gordon Field House and Activities Center. Representatives from 85 companies and government agencies will be on hand for the event—making this RIT’s largest career fair ever.
“This is an important opportunity for students to come in contact with a large number of potential employers and to speak with them over the course of a single day,” says Emanuel Contomanolis, assistant vice president of co-op and career services.
About 2,000 students seeking full-time and co-op positions are expected to attend the event. Candidates may be selected to return the following day or later in the quarter for an interview with one or more of the participating organizations.
Internationally recognized as a leader in computing, engineering, imaging technology, fine and applied arts, and education of the deaf, Rochester Institute of Technology enrolls 15,300 full- and part-time students in more than 340 career-oriented and professional programs. Its cooperative education program is one of the oldest and largest in the nation and is recognized among the top 10 “Programs at Work” by U.S. News and World Report.
