RIT to Host Higher Education Web Professionals Conference

Rochester Institute of Technology will host the fourth annual Higher Education Web Professionals of New York State conference, June 23-24, at the RIT Inn and Conference Center.

The two-day conference featuring sessions on accessibility, rich media, web standards, web content and communication, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Contribute, building brand membership online, databases, information architecture and user-interface design will be led by higher-education web professionals from industry and education. The conference features appearances by frequent Thunderlizard presenters Carrie Bickner and Andrew Kirkpatrick, RIT faculty members, and web experts from Auragen, Macromedia, and Buck and Pulleyn.

The conference costs $90, which includes all sessions, meals and snacks. Payment may be made by check or credit card. Hotel accommodation is available at the RIT Inn and Conference Center. HighEdWeb is an organization of web professionals working at institutions of higher education in New York state.
