RIT Press moves to external order fulfillment and title distribution

After nearly 25 years, RIT Press has shifted from in-house distribution and entered a partnership with Longleaf Services Inc., an organization that specializes in order fulfillment and title distribution for nearly 30 university presses. Longleaf’s collaborative model leverages larger-scale agreements that will expand the reach of RIT Press titles to new markets and audiences. The move also consolidates a number of processes, which allows RIT Press to focus efforts on expansion of title acquisition and development, partnerships, and marketing.
