Student awarded GEM Fellowship

Kellen Dorchen, a computer science master’s student from Greenville, S.C., has been awarded a GEM Fellowship, receiving full tuition and a stipend to complete his graduate degree. GEM is a network of corporations, government laboratories, top universities, and research institutions that enables students from underrepresented communities to pursue graduate education in applied science and engineering. Dorchen’s employer sponsor is the MITRE Corp., where he is also completing an internship.
