Student awarded scholarship from Society of Women Engineers

Shriya Musuku, a fifth-year mechanical engineering BS/MS student, was awarded the Alma Kuppinger Forman, PE Scholarship by the national Society of Women Engineers (SWE). The endowed scholarship recognizes a student’s academics and community activities and is named after one of the founding members of SWE and the first woman at the Drexel Institute of Technology to receive a degree in civil engineering. Musuku is a teaching assistant in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering and is training to be an EMT.
