Student Clara Pitkins presents at 2024 Joint Mathematics Meeting

Clara Pitkins, a fourth-year applied mathematics student, presented her research "Comparison of Modern Optimization Algorithms: Application to Image Deblurring," at the 2024 Joint Mathematics Meeting, the largest gathering of mathematicians in the world. Her study explores modern optimization methods and their applications in solving image deblurring problems. The meeting was held Jan. 4 in San Francisco.
