Students take second place in competition

RIT students took second place in the third annual American National Standards Institute’s Standards Development Competition in Washington, D.C., for their work about developing international standards toward the health, safety and protection of consumers and the environment. The team, Ameya Parkhi, Rose Louk, Lucas Barber, Leslie Arnold and Emma Aspvik, represented several RIT colleges and degree programs: environmental management and safety, chemical engineering, public policy and business management. The group was mentored by Assistant Professor Lisa Greenwood of the Department of Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Management and Safety.
