Weeklong spring open house at RIT’s Athenaeum; April 4-7

A taste of spring classes will be offered during a weeklong open house at The Athenaeum, Rochester Institute of Technology’s academy for learning over 50.

Sampler sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, April 4-7. Participants are invited to stay the day—attend classes, bring a brown bag lunch and socialize with current members.

Course curriculum ranges from “Computer 101,” “Physics in Your Life,” and “U.S. Foreign Policy: The Bush Doctrine,” to “Readers’ Theater.”

The Athenaeum is located at 30 Fairwood Drive, just south of the RIT campus off East River Road in Henrietta. The building has limited accessibility for the handicapped.
