White awarded DoD scholarship
Cooper White, a third-year imaging science student, was awarded the SMART Scholarship from the U.S. Department of Defense. The scholarship covers full tuition, provides annual stipends and summer internships, and guarantees civilian employment with the Department of Defense upon graduation. White will begin his career as a software engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center–Crane Division.
