Job Description:
NTID Research Center on Culture & Language (CCL) has remote co-op positions
in Summer 2021 for those who are interested in working at the center as
Research Assistants. We are offering full-time co-op positions for 10 weeks
(35 hours per week). Co-op positions are limited to current RIT students, you
must be able to register for a Co-op credit in order to be eligible for these
positions. Please submit your application through RIT’s symplicity portal
using the Job ID above. You also must be able to work remotely anywhere
within the United States.
This position is ideal for students who would like to gain experience working
in a research center focusing on a multitude of projects such as Health
Literacy, Deaf women’s pregnancy outcomes, sign language measures
development, sign language variations, and promoting Deaf Scientists.
Students will also gain experience working in a Deaf,
Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing environment where ASL is the language of all
meetings.
Duties:
▪	Conduct literature reviews
▪	Collect, transcribe, & analyze data
▪	Prepare materials for recruitment, project tracking, and presentations
▪	Assist with other duties as needed

Hours/Days:
Flexible remote schedule between Monday-Friday 8am-8pm (EST)



Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
▪	Ability to work independently and multitask
▪	Ability to communicate 1:1 in American Sign Language
▪	Organized, responsible, and have good people skills
