Company Information ------------------- Company Name: Bob Rumball Canadian Centre of Excellence for the Deaf (BRCCED) Job Information --------------- Job Title: Health Policy Research Analyst Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Job Description: INTERNAL/EXTERNAL JOB POSTING (Job Posting # 2020-28) TITLE: Health Policy Research Analyst POSITION STATUS: Full Time – Temporary (8 weeks-Canada Summer Job) (Non-Union) REPORTS TO: Psychologist and Mental Health Consultant POSITION SUMMARY: Working with staff Psychologist and Mental Health Consultant the Health Policy Research Analyst will conduct needs analysis of Deaf Seniors in Ontario and throughout Canada, with a view to developing a model of service. PRIMARY DUTIES Assist in identifying current needs of Deaf Seniors in Ontario and throughout Canada and identification of gaps in service Performs literature searches and review of literature Web searches on specific mental health related topics Write reports and annotate bibliography Statistical analysis Retrieve and analyze policy documents on Mental Health and Deafness in Ontario and Canada Familiarity with Reference manager programs such as Endnote Other tasks as may be assigned QUALIFICATIONS Senior level or Honours undergraduate in Psychology or other Social Science or health related disciplines.
