Position Overview
We’re seeking a Social Media Intern who is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and excited to help us expand our online presence. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, community engagement, and digital creativity. You’ll play a key part in shaping the voice and visual identity of GENEVIEVE Technology across multiple platforms.
What You’ll Do
Manage and update our social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Create engaging ASL-accessible content, including graphics, short videos, and posts
Develop creative ideas to increase brand awareness and community engagement
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns
Monitor trends and identify opportunities relevant to accessibility and our mission.
Collaborate with leadership on new strategies and storytelling approaches
Track basic analytics (reach, engagement, growth) to inform future content

Fluent in ASL (required)
Passionate about the Deaf community, accessibility, and inclusive communication
Adaptability in understanding different popular social media platforms
Ability to brainstorm creative ways to attract interest and build community
Basic video editing or graphic design skills (preferred but not required)
Self-starter who can manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and organization skills
