Inclusive Communication Services (ICS) is a language access company committed to breaking communication barriers and building more inclusive communities. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Assistant Marketer to join our collaborative, mission-driven New Majority team on a part-time or contract basis (~20 hours/week) with opportunity to scale to full-time. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll help produce engaging, accessible, and community-centered content across multiple platforms. This is an ideal opportunity for current students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals in marketing or communications who want hands-on experience at a purpose-driven organization.
Social Media Content Creation & Management
• Create, coordinate, and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google My Business.
• Draw on an internal marketing library and past campaigns to develop fresh posts and refresh existing content.
• Ensure every post includes captions, alt text, and other accessibility features.
• Engage with followers to boost visibility and build community connections.
• Support short- and long-form video projects.
Blog Writing
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify blog topics that balance passion pieces, client-requested content, and SEO-driven articles.
• Write original, human-generated blog content; AI tools may be used for editing or refinement only.
• Follow the internal Blog Writing Guide while bringing your own creativity and voice.
Case Studies
• Develop concise, visually engaging one-page case studies highlighting key partnerships and impact stories.
• Use previous layouts and writing samples as a guide for structure and tone.
• Learn and contribute to the process for creating multi-year case studies and updating older ones.
Additional Marketing Support
• Film event promos in ASL.
• Add captions to video content.
• Conduct and record research to enhance community resources.
• Contribute to other marketing projects as they arise.
Required
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills with an eye for accessible, community-centered content.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Strongly Preferred
• ASL proficiency or willingness to develop ASL skills.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Canva, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Go High Level (GHL).
• Interest in or experience with SEO, blog writing, or content marketing.
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices for digital content.
