| Job Description | The Poor People’s Campaign addresses the interlocking evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, and ecological devastation. We are demanding the implementation of our moral agenda, which includes the right to housing, healthcare & PPE, living wage jobs, education, voting rights, an end to police brutality, family separations, and setting up a just immigration system. We call on all people of conscience to engage in deeply moral civic engagement and voting that cares about poor and low-income people, the sick, immigrants, workers, the environment, Deaf people, people with disabilities, First Nations, the LGBTQ community, and peace over war. Internship responsibilities may include: Specific assignments are determined in consultation with each intern’s interests and organizational needs. All positions include administrative support tasks, including note-taking, emailing, organizing documents, setting events on Google calendar, and more. |
