Classification: Part-time, 5-10 hours per week

About the Role

As Convo’s Brand Ambassadors the focus would be on expanding Convo’s customer base by forming authentic and engaging relationships. Their goal is to increase Convo’s brand awareness and promote our unique story and VRS solutions - For Deaf, By Deaf, on campus via training, customer relations, marketing, and community events.

The Convo Brand Ambassador will gain exposure to all aspects of the customer success, sales, and marketing teams at Convo. We are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated, empathetic, and entrepreneurial individual who is eager to contribute right away!

Note: This role requires fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and student enrollment at NTID/RIT.

Responsibilities

● Complete a monthly set of action items and ensure that NTID/RIT has a strong, loyal customer base for Convo VRS solutions.
● Bring fresh and innovative ideas on how to promote Convo on campus and grow our student market.
● Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand the nuances of the school culture.
● Conduct on campus (virtual and in person) events, presentations, market research (product testing), and training.
● Increase Convo’s brand awareness and presence on campus.
● Educate students on the benefits of Convo products, our Deaf Ecosystem,and cultivate new business opportunities.
● Create and execute local marketing activities and represent Convo at student networking events.
● Develop monthly reports on student outreach activities, student feedback and trends, and competitor programs.
● Perform and manage projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

● Current student at NTID/RIT in good standing
● Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
● Excellent organizational skills
● Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to network and develop relationships
● Experience with Convo VRS preferred
● Uphold and embody Convo’s core values: Connection, Community & Culture
● Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
