A successful candidate must have successful experience teaching ASL at the post-secondary level and hold ASLTA certification (or be willing to work toward certification). A PhD or its equivalent is preferred. However, strong candidates holding an appropriate Master’s degree who have a proven record of successful teaching will definitely be considered. The Northeastern University American Sign Language & Interpreting Education is seeking applicants for the position of Teaching Professor or Assistant Academic Specialist.
