Starting in the associate+bachelor’s degree program gave me a jump start to a bachelor’s degree. I got more personal attention and benefited from smaller class sizes as well as completed many of my liberal arts requirements. When I enrolled in the program in human-centered computing, I was well prepared. I continued my studies for a master’s degree in human-computer interaction and worked as a user experience student researcher for four years in RIT/NTID’s Center on Access Technology. My main focus was on UI/UX design, but I also had the opportunity to complete a variety of research tasks.
