The Exchange plans to build a 400,000-square-foot campus on Governors Island, in the West River, next to the Statue of Liberty. One of the new facilities will be a state-of-the-art building with a serpentine roof that resembles a roller coaster with a solar canopy.

Giving students interdisciplinary perspectives on the evolving cryptocurrency industry
Students will work with real-world data and industry-level software, and will leave the course with the knowledge and experience that the government and private sectors are looking for when recruiting new hires. Students also earn two industry-recognized certifications: Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification and Chainalysis Reactor Certification.

NSF awards RIT nearly $3 million to advance semiconductor technologies
The award is part of the NSF’s Research Traineeship Program (NRT), a national initiative to better prepare master’s and doctoral students for the interdisciplinary talents required in semiconductor chip development. The grant will provide 20 doctoral student fellowships to advance research in the much-needed field of semiconductor technologies.
