Campus Life

RIT is alive with energy and excitement. It won’t take long for you to find your niche in a community where there is always something happening.

From athletics, academic clubs, and road trips to fraternities and sororities, special interest housing, and concerts and events sponsored by the College Activities Board—students never find themselves without an activity to participate in or an event to attend.

Take advantage of the many opportunities for recreation and personal growth, leadership and entertainment.

No matter where your interests lie, there are a number of clubs and organizations—many of which are student chapters of professional organizations—that support academic programs, professional interests, and personal hobbies. We also encourage students to start their own clubs if their interests aren’t yet represented.

There’s more to life than classes, exams, and projects. RIT is alive with energy and spirit–from a top Division I hockey team to more than 145 clubs and organizations. Finding the right fit is easy.
