Funding
How does funding work for companies and your employees?
Graduate students receive a minimum 30% tuition discount prior to the application of corporate HR funding, ensuring a high-quality RIT education remains affordable. Our online programs are already offered at a 43% discount.
RIT billing is due at the beginning of the semester. RIT Corporate Sponsorship understands that employers who sponsor employees for professional development often wait to reimburse students until grades are distributed at the end of the term. Your company may become certified for delayed billing (Employee Sponsored Tuition Plan), which defers payment to the end of the semester.
Step 1
Company: Confirm you will sponsor your employee for a minimum of $5,250 per year.
Employee: Gain admission to their desired RIT master’s or advanced certificate program.
Step 2
Company: See if you're already approved as an ESTP sponsor. If not, fill out this form.
Employee: Complete the ESTP Application for Payment Deferment and submit it to RIT’s Office of Student Financial Services. Only one form needs to be completed for the entire academic year.
