Bio
Patricia Kenney received a BA in American Studies at Gallaudet University and attended California State University in Northridge, where she obtained a second BA in English and a MA in Deaf Education with a teaching certificate in Secondary English Education. In addition, she completed her doctoral degree at the University of Rochester.
She enjoys trail running, hiking, kayaking, and cycling with her husband, Tim, family, and friends.
Dr. Kenney teaches Developmental English and Career English in the NTID Department of Liberal Studies and coordinates the English Peer Tutoring program in the NTID Learning Center. Teaching has always been her passion, and she enjoys learning new technologies from her students.
