Felicific Calculus: Technology as a Social Marker of Race, Class, & Economics in Rochester, N.Y.

Focusing on pay phones that have all but disappeared in Rochester, N.Y., photographer and RIT faculty Eric Kunsman reveals the socio-economic disruptions around this essential form of communication still utilized and depended on by many in a solo exhibition at RIT City Art Space. Kunsman is an assistant professor in NTID's Department of Visual Communications Studies and also teaches classes in the School of Photographic Arts and Sciences.
