Lecture: R. Roger Remington

Sponsored by the Vignelli Center for Design Studies, R. Roger Remington, Vignelli Distinguished Professor of Design Emeritus, will present a lecture on Design Theory. It is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Helen Hamlyn Study Room of the Vignelli Center.
Massimo Vignelli said, “Without theory, design can never become a profession.” Remington’s talk will focus on the benefits of understanding design theory in the practice of design. The talk should be of particular interest to graphic design and industrial design students.
