RIT Big Shot 37 at Buffalo Bills Highmark Stadium
Get your game face ready and look on the (Mr.) Brightside: RIT’s Big Shot initiative is heading to the Buffalo Bills' Highmark Stadium to shine a light on the venue in its farewell season!
The RIT community and the public are invited to contribute to the next chapter of Big Shot history and capture a once-in-a-lifetime photo commemorating the team's home of 52 years.
Grab your flashlight and dark-toned clothing (nothing reflective), and be ready to illuminate Highmark Stadium after sunset on Saturday, Oct. 11. All are welcome to participate. Participants are asked to arrive at 6:30 p.m. Photographs will be made from 8-8:30 p.m.
Participants should arrive at the main gate to receive a zone assignment card, which will tell them where to go. Get to your assigned zone and look for your group leader for more information as to what part of the stadium you will be illuminating.

About the Big Shot
Highmark Stadium is joining a long line of well-known landmarks featured by the RIT Big Shot. Since starting in 1987, the signature project is responsible for dramatic images of sites around the world using a “painting with light” technique. For the photo, volunteers shine light sources on an otherwise dark subject while RIT photographers capture an extended exposure. Past projects have featured Churchill Downs, the Dallas Cowboys Stadium, and the Royal Palace in Stockholm, Sweden.
