Sound Stage

The 7,000-square-foot sound stage is the only of its size in the Rochester region designed from the ground up to support film production. The stage was intentionally built to meet the criteria of a New York State Qualified Film Production Facility (QPF) and is a Level 2 NYS QPF. The stage offers technical advantages such as an adjustable light batten rigging system and silent heating and cooling.

Features:

  • 7,000 square feet working area (70' x 100')
  • 35' clearance to ceiling with available rigging pick points (6,000lb weight capacity each)
  • Fourteen 30' long DMX-capable light battens adjustable from 4' to 32' (650lb weight capacity per batten)
  • (2) 400 Amp company circuits / 2000 total amps on stage
  • NC 25 sound rating
  • Repairable MDF wood floor with epoxy finish
  • Perimeter ribbon rigging boards
  • Soundproof wall divider to form two 3,500-square-foot stages (Note: renting half stage still satisfies NYS QPF tax credit requirements).

Stage Blueprints: A PDF of the stage blueprints is available.

  • Flatbed accessible loading dock at stage
  • Green room (204 square feet)
  • hair/make-up/shower facilities
