The National Technical Institute for the Deaf provides many different workshops for all age ranges in different topics throughout the summer.

Explore Your Future

Explore Your Future is a six-day career exploration program at Rochester Institute of Technology for college-bound deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students who will begin their junior or senior year in fall 2023. This program focuses on personal growth and career awareness for students as they begin to think about college.

Explore Your Future will be offered summer 2023 on the RIT/NTID campus.

TechTigers is a week-long summer camp for deaf or hard-of-hearing students entering seventh, eighth or ninth grade who are interested in science, technology, engineering and math.

Health Care Careers Exploration Program

For students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade who are interested in a career in the health care field. Learn about various careers in health care; enjoy field trips to area medical facilities; be a part of hands-on demonstrations in biology, exercise science, laboratory science, microbiology, nursing, nutrition; become CPR certified; and more.
