Babbitt receives 2020 Graedel prize

Callie Babbitt, professor, Department of Sustainability, was awarded the 2020 Graedel prize for Senior Best Paper from the Journal of Industrial Ecology for “The evolution of consumer electronic waste in the United States,” a paper she co-authored with Shahana Althaf ’20 (sustainability) and former sustainability professor Roger Chen. The Graedel prizes for best papers in JIE have been awarded annually since 2014, named in honor of Thomas Graedel, a founder of the field of industrial ecology.
