Beginning Wednesday, January 21, Duo login verification will change
When you log in to RIT systems using your RIT username and password, you will be required to verify your identity using a three-digit code in Duo, RIT’s multifactor authentication tool.
We are making this change because RIT and universities nationwide continue to see targeted phishing attacks aimed at stealing account credentials, especially tied to financial activity.
For RIT students, if you are expecting a refund this semester, you must take action to ensure your refund is delivered correctly and your account remains secure. Please set up your refund preference. If you have a BankMobile account, log in and select your refund preference as soon as possible. Make sure your information is up to date so your refund can be processed correctly.
If you do not have a BankMobile account, once your refund is processed, you will receive an email from BankMobile with instructions on how to set up your account and select your refund preference.
If you have questions about your refund, contact Student Financial Services by emailing askSFS@rit.edu. Report any messages asking for your login or personal information to help.rit.edu.
