Cilano presents on Public Policy for Student Affairs Professionals
Kathryn Cilano, director of the Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement, co presented “Public Policy for Student Affairs Professionals” as a pre-conference at the NASPA Annual Conference through NASPA’s Public Policy Division. The presentation centered on the growing influence of state and federal public policy on student affairs practice and emphasized the role of policy awareness as a critical pathway to student success amid a rapidly changing higher education landscape. The session aligned with NASPA’s Pathways to Student Success focus by advancing dialogue on how policy shapes institutional priorities, student experiences, and professional practice.
