Democratic Candidate for U.S. Congress to be Guest on Radio Show

Eric Massa, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress representing the 29th District, will be this week’s guest on “Reality High Radio,” a weekly interview show heard on WITR-FM (89.7). Massa will be interviewed by the show’s host, Geoffrey Jones, and he will take calls from listeners for part of the show, which runs 8 to 10 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 12.

Massa is challenging incumbent John R. “Randy” Kuhl Jr. (R-Hammondsport), who was first elected to the seat in 2004, following more than 20 years in the state legislature. Kuhl, who replaced longtime Rep. Amory Houghton Jr., serves on three House committees.

Massa, of Corning, is a Navy veteran and a former aide to retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark. He has been campaigning as a champion of veterans’ benefits and health care coverage for all Americans. The race is one of the most closely watched in the nation.

In its second season, “Reality High Radio” is a local, progressive talk radio show. In the run-up to the November 7 election, the show is broadcasting a series of interviews with candidates for local office. Listeners can call (585) 475-2271 during the show to speak live with guests or send questions to realityhigh@gmail.com.
