Felea presents at Joint Mathematics Meeting

Raluca Felea, professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, presented research at the Joint Mathematics Meeting, Jan. 4–7 in Washington, D.C. The research explored how microlocal analysis methods used in imaging can identify important features of objects when measurements are taken over quadric surfaces. This work helps clarify what features, identified as singularities in the image, can be accurately detected through indirect measurements, strengthening the mathematical foundations of imaging methods used across science and medicine.
